Aston Martin Lagonda of North America is recalling certain 2011-2012 V8 Vantage vehicles. The recall involves 315 vehicles in the United States.
The affected vehicles received updated transmission and engine control software that may conflict with pre-existing clutch settings. This conflict may cause the transmission to shift to neutral or enable a clutch protection mode that results in abrupt gear shifts. If the transmission shifts into neutral or does not operate as intended, there is an increased risk of a crash.
