The EXV2 units were manufactured between March 1, 2005, and July 29, 2016, while the EXV4 units were manufactured between March 3, 2005, and July 19, 2016. A total of 1,038 vehicles are affected by this recall.

The affected vehicles may not be equipped with a red reflector on the back of the vehicle. This defect causes the vehicles to fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 500, "Low Speed Vehicles." A missing red reflector can make the vehicle less visible to other drivers, which increases the risk of a crash.
