The defect involves the tires installed on the trailers. Some units may have been manufactured with ST215/75R14 Load Range C tires rated for 1,870 lbs, when they should have been equipped with ST215/75R14 Load Range D tires rated for 2,200 lbs. This discrepancy may allow owners to inadvertently overload the tires, potentially leading to tire failure and an increased risk of a crash.

Dealers will replace the tires with ones of the proper load rating free of charge. The recall began on May 25, 2016. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369 or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
