M.B. Sturgis, Inc. is recalling certain Auto Changeover Propane Gas Regulators, part number 108260, manufactured between June 25, 2015, and July 17, 2015. The recall involves 2,083 units. In the affected regulators, the plastic fuel level gauge window may crack, which allows propane gas to leak out.
A propane gas leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire. M.B. Sturgis has notified the vehicle manufacturers that purchased these regulators. Their dealers will replace the regulator free of charge. The recall began on May 23, 2016.
