The recall addresses a defect in the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) hydraulic unit where improperly drilled holes may restrict one or more pistons. This restriction can impair DSC functions, including braking.
Impaired DSC functionality may negatively impact vehicle handling and braking, which increases the risk of a crash. The recall began on February 8, 2016.
