These vehicles were manufactured between June 20, 2006, and February 17, 2015, and are built on a GM chassis. The recall affects 110 vehicles equipped with specific Trans-Air add-on compressor mount kits installed by Trans-Air personnel.
The defect involves the power distribution terminal strip, which may not have been properly reconnected after the compressor installation. If the connection is poor or loose, the strip may arc or overheat, increasing the risk of a vehicle fire.
Starcraft will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the power distribution terminal strip connection and correct it as necessary, free of charge. The recall began on August 17, 2015.
