Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 Starcraft All Star XL, 2013 Starcraft All Star, and XLT transit buses. The affected vehicles were manufactured between October 17, 2012, and November 20, 2012. A total of 32 vehicles are affected by this recall.
The recall is issued because the engine grid heater power feed cable may be improperly routed. This routing allows the cable to contact the metal edge of the cab. If contact occurs, it may cause an electrical short, which increases the risk of a fire.
Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will install a cable tie to provide proper clearance for the engine grid heater power feed cable at no charge. The recall began on September 18, 2015.
