The defect involves the front left and right brake air hoses, which may touch and rub against the air bag suspension towers.

If the brake hoses rub against the suspension tower, a hole may develop, causing an air leak. This leak can reduce brake air pressure, which lengthens the distance needed to stop the transit bus and increases the risk of a crash.
