Plain-English summary
Allied Recreation Group, Inc. (ARG) is recalling certain model year 2015 Monaco Holiday Rambler Alumascape fifth wheel trailers, models 323RL and 343RE, manufactured between August 28, 2013, and December 18, 2013. The recall involves 7 affected vehicles.
The Federal Certification Labels on these vehicles contain incorrect figures regarding front and rear tire type, width, load index, and pressure ratings. This non-conformity to Part 567, "Certification," may result in improper tire inflation, which can contribute to tire failure and increase the risk of a crash.
ARG will notify owners, and dealers will replace the tires with new tires of the same specification to address any potential improper inflation. Dealers will also replace the Federal Certification labels with corrected information at no charge. The recall began on October 1, 2014. Owners may contact ARG customer service at 1-800-509-3417 or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
