Diamond Coach Corporation is recalling certain model year 2009 through 2010 VIP/PT 2000, 2200, 2500, 2800, 3200, and 3201 transit buses. The recall involves buses equipped with A&M Systems-brand door actuators containing model 3230 circuit boards.

Voltage spikes may damage the electrical components and circuits of the door actuator, causing the circuit board to develop high resistance. This high resistance may cause the board to overheat, which increases the risk of a fire.
