The defect involves the aluminum wheels potentially disengaging from the axle hub. If a wheel is lost during transit, it can result in the loss of control of the trailer or the tow vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash. Additionally, the loose wheel becomes a road hazard.

Columbia Northwest will send each owner a new lug nut wrench to tighten the lug nuts free of charge. Dealers can also re-torque the wheels at no cost if the owner is unable to do so.
