Dorman Products, Inc. is recalling certain service replacement equipment control arms, part numbers 520-121, 520-122, 2410121, and 2410122. These units were shipped from November 2010 through January 2012. The recall affects 2,612 units.
The control arms may have an inadequate heat treatment of the ball stud, which can result in premature fracture. A fracture of the ball stud can impair steering and handling, possibly resulting in a vehicle crash.
