During production, two sets of lower anchorages used to restrain portable child seats were not installed. As a result, these buses do not conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 225, "Child Restraint Anchorages Systems."

If a portable child restraint is installed in the affected vehicles, it will be secured only by the seat belt rather than by both the seat belt and the lower anchorages. In the event of a crash, a child who is not sufficiently restrained could be injured.
