Setra of North America is recalling certain model year 2009-2010 S417 and model year 2011 S417 TC motor coaches. The recall involves 97 vehicles in total.
The partition glass located behind the driver does not have the necessary Department of Transportation (DOT) markings as specified by Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 205, "Glazing Materials." Compliance with this standard is required for all vehicles in the United States to assure minimum safety requirements.
The safety recall began on February 22, 2011. Dealers will replace the partition glass free of charge. Owners may contact Setra at 800-882-8054 or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
