GM Recalls 2006-2010 Hummer H3 for Hood Louver Detachment Risk

General Motors is recalling certain model year 2006 through 2010 Hummer H3 vehicles. The recall addresses a condition where the integral clip-tabs on the hood louver may fracture. This can cause the hood louver to rattle against the hood and become loose.

If the rattle is not noticed, additional clips could fracture, allowing the hood louver to detach from the vehicle. If the vehicle is being driven when this occurs, the detached louver could strike a following vehicle, potentially causing injury and/or property damage.
