Dexter Axle Company is recalling certain trailer axle assemblies manufactured between August 15, 2010, and August 30, 2010. The recall addresses a defect where cracks may appear in the spindle weld on some of these axles.
These cracks can propagate and cause the spindle to detach from the axle tube, resulting in the separation of the wheel end from the vehicle.
