The dehydrators were sold nationwide at retail stores and by telemarketers from October 1993 to December 1995 for $30 to $40. Consumers who own the recalled model should stop using it immediately. Because the manufacturer is out of business, consumers are instructed to destroy or discard the product. K-Tel has already notified consumers who purchased the dehydrators through telemarketing; this notice is intended to inform those who purchased them at retail stores.
