These indoor-only light sets were sold nationwide for $4.50 to $5.00 and are packaged in a white and red cardboard box with a clear cellophane window.

The recall is due to a potential fire hazard. The bulb sockets in these sets may contain incorrectly placed metal electrical contacts. If both contacts are positioned vertically, they may short out the bulb and overheat the wires, creating a risk of fire.

Consumers should examine the inside of each socket to check the placement of the two metal electrical contacts. In correctly constructed sets, one contact is mounted horizontally across the inside base of the socket, and the other stands vertically along the inside wall.
