The recall is due to a risk of serious injury or death from a choking hazard, as the rolling ball on the bottle top can detach. The recalled bottles contain 1.85 fluid ounces of sour liquid candy and were sold in blue, red, green, and pink flavors.
The candy bottles were sold individually and in packs of three or 12 from January 2023 through May 2026. They were available at H-E-B, Forman Mill, other candy stores nationwide, and online at Walmart.com, CandyFunHouse.com, RickyJoy.com, and other retailers. The bottles were priced at about $3 individually and between $13 and $32 for packs.
No injuries have been reported. Consumers should stop using the candy bottles immediately and keep them away from children. To obtain a refund, consumers should contact The Ricky Joy Company toll-free at 404-975-0352 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or visit rickyjoy.com/pages/recall. A pre-paid shipping label will be provided for returns.
