What this means for you

Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.

Our severity reasoning: Held at rubric level 3 as a risk-of-harm product: the two reported injuries were scrapes, cuts and bruises, which do not meet level 4's threshold of significant injury.

Plain-English summary

HARPPA, Inc. has recalled its Nordi foldable toddler tower stools. 47,166 units were sold online at Harppababy.com and Amazon.com from September 2023 through June 2026 for about $130.

The tower stools are white, black and blue with natural wood colour on the step, platform and safety bars, and measure about 18 inches deep, 18 inches wide and 38.6 inches tall. "MODEL No.: HANS0002" is printed on a label on the underside of the platform.

The stools can collapse or tip over while in use, and a child's torso can fit through the openings on the front and back, posing tip-over, fall and entrapment hazards. HARPPA has received three reports of stools collapsing or tipping over, resulting in two injuries including scrapes, cuts and bruises.

Stop using the stools immediately and store them away from children. Contact HARPPA for a free repair kit, including shipping, which consists of protective nets, stabilising feet and installation instructions.
