Onasti Toddler Tower Stools Recalled for Fall and Injury Risk
Onasti Toddler Tower Stools sold on Amazon can collapse or tip over while in use, posing fall and injury risks. Recalls follow four reports of incidents, including injuries.
What this means for you
Illness, injury, or structural failure has been reported. Stop using the product immediately and contact the manufacturer for a refund or repair.
Our severity reasoning: Injuries have been reported, including a brain injury to a toddler, meeting the threshold for significant injury reports in a consumer product recall. The structural failure of children's furniture poses considerable risk of harm.
Plain-English summary
Onasti Toddler Tower Stools are plastic, foldable, triangular-shaped tower stools sold in multiple colors (beige/white, blue/gray, green, gray/white, light blue, and pink). The stools are approximately 25 inches long, 24 inches wide, and 32 inches tall, with handles and an adjustable platform that can be raised or lowered from two to three steps. About 10,300 units were distributed.
The stools can collapse or tip over while in use, creating serious fall and injury hazards for children. Blissful-Time has received four reports of the stool collapsing or tipping over. Two of these incidents resulted in injuries: one caused bruising and the other caused a brain injury to a toddler.
The stools were sold exclusively on Amazon.com from March 2024 through December 2024 for between $72 and $90. They were distributed by Shenzhenshiyaxinrankejiyouxiangongsi, dba Blissful-Time, of China.
