The bicycle lights violate the mandatory standard for consumer products with button cell and coin batteries because they contain button cell batteries that can be accessed easily by children, posing an ingestion hazard. No incidents or injuries have been reported.
The lights were sold online at Amazon.com from March 2024 through February 2026 for between $7 and $10 for a 6-pack and between $15 and $18 for a 24-pack.
Consumers should stop using the recalled bicycle lights immediately and contact Smfanlus for a full refund. Consumers will be asked to remove and properly dispose of the batteries.
