What this means for you
Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.
Our severity reasoning: The recalled chairs violate mandatory safety standards and pose risk of serious fall and entrapment injury to infants. No injuries or deaths have been reported. This falls under the rubric criterion for risk-of-harm products where injury has not yet been reported.
Plain-English summary
This recall involves approximately 130 convertible baby high chairs (Product No. HA-028) sold in beige or pink with removable seat cushions, detachable trays, and footrests. The chairs convert into infant swings and are reclinable and collapsible.
The recalled high chairs violate the mandatory federal standard for high chairs. They were sold without the required attached restraint system, creating a risk of serious fall injury to infants and toddlers. Additionally, the design allows a child's head to become trapped in the opening between the seat and tray, creating an entrapment hazard.
The chairs were distributed by Rotinyard of Zhejiang, China, and sold online through Amazon from March 2025 through June 2025 for approximately $90 per unit. No injuries have been reported to date.
Consumers should stop using the recalled high chairs immediately. To obtain a full refund, consumers must contact Rotinyard by email at [email protected]. Rotinyard requires consumers to disassemble the chairs, cut the restraints and fabric seat cushion inserts, and email photos of the destroyed restraints and cushion to the same address. The refund will be issued upon receipt of the photos.
