The SKU is on the underside of the chair seat. The recall does not apply to chair models sold after 23 January 2025.

The legs of the dining chair can break, posing a fall hazard. The firm has received 149 reports of chair legs breaking, including 10 reports of injuries to the head, back, arms and face.

About 54,930 units were sold, with about 3,160 more in Canada, at Crate & Barrel stores and on Crateandbarrel.com from January 2021 through January 2025 for between $300 and $350.

Consumers should immediately stop using the chairs and contact Crate & Barrel for a free replacement chair and free collection of the recalled chair.
