woom Recalls Children's Bicycles Due to Crank Fractures and Fall Hazards

woom Bike USA is recalling about 2,500 children's bicycles due to cranks that can break from fatigue fractures, causing riders to lose control and crash. One child was injured when this defect occurred.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled bicycles. woom is providing a free replacement crankset. Consumers can use the online crank checker tool at woom.com to determine if their bicycle is affected. Installation must be performed by a bike repair technician, with reimbursement provided upon submission of the repair receipt. All known purchasers are being contacted directly by woom.
