Bunkhouse and Lotsa LITES! Mini String Lights Recalled for Burn and Fire Hazards
Bunkhouse and Lotsa LITES! Connectable Mini String Lights can overheat and present burn and fire hazards when plugged directly into an outlet. About 34,600 units are affected.
What this means for you
Minor labeling or packaging issue, or a voluntary precautionary recall. Risk of harm is low but real — follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Our severity reasoning: The source explicitly states no injuries have been reported despite three overheating incidents. The hazard—overheat and fire risk—is real and not theoretical, but without reported injury or hospitalization and without an FDA/USDA Class I classification, this qualifies as a precautionary recall. Score 2 applies to low-risk hazards without reported harm.
