2022 Fugleman UT10E and UT10X Utility-Terrain Vehicles Fire Hazard Recall
Segway Powersports is recalling about 1,100 2022 Fugleman UT10E and UT10X Utility-Terrain Vehicles because the ignition coil can fail, allowing fuel to enter the exhaust pipe and ignite, creating a fire hazard. One vehicle fire with property damage has been reported.

The vehicles were sold through Segway Powersports authorized dealers from December 2021 through July 2023, priced between $14,400 and $16,700. The vehicles come in various colors including white, black, gray, and camo, and have "FUGLEMAN" decals on the rear side panels and a Segway logo on the hood.
The ignition coil in these vehicles can fail to ignite one of the engine cylinders. When this occurs, uncombusted fuel enters the exhaust pipe where it can ignite, creating a fire hazard. The firm has received one report of a vehicle fire with property damage. No injuries have been reported.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled vehicles and bring them to an authorized Segway Powersports dealer for a free repair, which includes installation of an upgrade kit. The firm has contacted all known purchasers.
