VidaXL Steel Pool Ladders Recalled for Fall and Drowning Hazards

VidaXL LLC is recalling approximately 3,200 VidaXL Steel Pool Ladders for above-ground pools. The ladders measure 47 inches and come in two models identified by item numbers (SKU) 93122 and 93188. They are A-shaped ladders designed to attach over the edge of above-ground pools and feature two gray or blue non-skid plastic steps on each side.

The steps of these ladders can loosen during use, posing fall and drowning hazards to users. The firm has received four reports of falls off the pool ladders, though no injuries have been reported.

The affected ladders were sold online at vidaxl.com from February 2021 through August 2021 for approximately $90. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled pool ladders. VidaXL is contacting all purchasers directly and will instruct consumers to remove two of the ladder's steps and dispose of the steps and ladder in the trash. Consumers may also contact VidaXL for a full refund.
