The product is identified by Lowe's Item Number 466656 and features a cherry wood-colored cabinet with a thermostat and remote control. The label "FEBO Flame Electric Fireplace Model Number ZHS-30-A" is printed on the back of the unit.

The recall is due to a fire hazard caused by wiring connectors in the fireplace that can overheat. The firm has received 28 reports of overheating, fire, or smoke. Several of these incidents reportedly caused smoke damage to the surrounding area, and in one instance, smoke inhalation occurred.
