L G Sourcing Inc. is recalling approximately 97,000 halogen table lamps sold at Lowe's retail outlets nationwide from April 2006 through March 2007. The lamps, manufactured by Winsource Industries, Ltd. of Hong Kong, feature a plastic base and two extendable arms connecting the base to a halogen lamp. They were sold in white, red, blue, orange, and purple for about $10 each. The item number 101988 is printed on the bottom of the lamp base.

The recall was issued because the lamps can short circuit, posing a fire hazard. L G Sourcing has received one report of a minor fire involving the product, but no injuries have been reported.
