Thule Group is recalling approximately 1,430 Thule Sleek Car Seat Adapters in the United States and about 116 in Canada. The adapters are used to place a Chicco car seat on the Thule Sleek Stroller. The recall involves adapters with product number 11000301 printed on a sticker located on the plastic bracket and UPC code 091021188099.

The plastic brackets on the car seat adapter can break, posing a fall hazard to infants. Thule has received three reports of the plastic brackets cracking or breaking while in use. No injuries have been reported.

The adapters were sold at REI, Buy Buy Baby, and other stores nationwide, as well as online at Thule.com and Amazon.com, from December 2018 through February 2020 for about $60. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled adapter and contact Thule Group to arrange for a full refund or a free replacement Thule Sleek Bassinet.
