Ishtex Textile Products Inc. is recalling Just Blanks-branded children's nightgowns because they fail to meet the federal flammability standard for children's sleepwear. This non-compliance poses a risk of burn injuries to children. The recall involves approximately 450 units of nightgowns made of 92% cotton and 8% spandex, available in sizes 12 months through size 12. The affected items feature either a birthday print with blue trim or an elephant print with pink trim, and include a sewn-in neck label with the Just Blanks brand and tracking number 20190329.
The nightgowns were sold at children's boutiques nationwide from August 2019 through December 2019 for about $30 each. The products were manufactured in China. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.
Consumers should immediately take the recalled nightgowns away from children.
