WilliamsRDM Recalls StoveTop FireStop Cooktop Fire Suppressors Due to Activation Failure

The manufacturer is aware of two instances where the fire suppressors failed to operate during a product demonstration. No injuries have been reported.

The affected devices were sold nationwide and online at HomeDepot.com in November 2016 through retailers including HD Supply, Interline, Louisville Fire and Safety, and Central Wholesalers. The STFS Rangehood was sold for about $56, and the STFS Microhood for about $80.
