The adapters were sold by some small retailers and online through various websites, including momo.com, jegs.com, and summitracing.com, from July 2018 through May 2019 for approximately $375. MW Company has received one report of the quick release mechanism engaging inadvertently, but no injuries have been reported.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled steering wheel adapters and return them to MW Company for a full refund.
