What this means for you

Our severity reasoning: The recall involves a risk-of-harm product (flammability violation) where injury has not yet been reported, which aligns with the High severity criteria.
Plain-English summary
RH US LLC is recalling approximately 5,400 adult, unisex "Ultra-Soft Turkish Robe" products sold in the United States. An additional 300 units were sold in Canada. The robes are made of 100% cotton terry cloth, feature long sleeves, two front pockets, and a belt, and were available in black, dark gray, light gray, green, and white in sizes XS through XL. They were sold at RH galleries, outlets, and warehouse sales nationwide, as well as online at www.rh.com, from August 2018 through March 2019 for prices between $80 and $115.
The recalled robes fail to meet federal flammability standards for clothing textiles, which creates a risk of burn injuries. RH has received three incident reports in the U.S. and one in Canada where the robes ignited while consumers were operating a gas stove. No injuries have been reported in connection with these incidents.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled robes and contact RH for a full refund of the purchase price. Assistance is available by calling 800-762-1751, emailing [email protected], or visiting www.restorationhardware.com and clicking the Safety Recalls link.
