Pearhead Inc. is recalling Ubbi Connecting Bath Toys because the plastic toys can break and create sharp points. This defect poses a risk of laceration and choking to young children. The recalled toys are plastic with a large circle in the middle featuring an engraved smiley face, attached to six smaller circles that can be connected to one another. They were sold in sets of six in red, orange, yellow, navy, blue, and green, as well as in an Ubbi Bath Toy Gift Set containing four sets of bath toys.

About 6,200 units were sold nationwide from January 2019 through August 2019. The toys were available at buy buy BABY, Nordstrom, Bump Box, other specialty stores, and online at Amazon.com and ubbiworld.com. The Ubbi Connecting Bath Toys sold for about $8, while the Ubbi Bath Toy Gift Set sold for about $40. Pearhead has received two reports of broken bath toys, but no injuries have been reported.

Consumers should immediately take the recalled toys away from children and return them to Pearhead for a full refund and a free replacement Ubbi Squeeze Bath Toy.
