Bensussen Deutch & Associates (BDA) LLC is recalling Golden State Warriors Menorahs due to fire and burn hazards. The recall involves approximately 1,800 polyresin menorahs distributed as promotional giveaway items to ticketholders for Jewish Heritage Night at an NBA game for the Golden State Warriors on December 14, 2017. The menorahs feature "Golden State Warriors," "Jewish Heritage Night," and two Stars of David printed on the front, with gold-colored aluminum candleholders positioned on top of decorative basketballs.
The hazard exists because the glue that holds the menorah's candleholders can melt, causing the candleholders and lit candles to fall off. This malfunction poses a risk of fire and burn injuries. The firm has received one report of the glue melting and causing a candleholder to fall off, but no injuries have been reported.
