The recalled 16-piece kits include a battery-operated pottery wheel, clay, tools, paints, brushes, and a sponge. The kits are blue and feature SKU number 078859. They were sold exclusively at Michaels stores nationwide and online from August 2011 through February 2018 for about $25. The kits were manufactured in China.

Michaels has received one report of overheating and one report of a fire in the battery compartment. No injuries have been reported. Consumers should immediately take the recalled kits away from children, stop using them, and return them to any Michaels store for a full refund.
