The ponchos were manufactured in China and distributed by Wealers Outdoor LLC.

The recall is due to a strangulation hazard. A white nylon drawstring attached at the neck of the poncho's hood can become entangled or caught on playground slides, handrails, school bus doors, or other moving objects, posing a significant strangulation and entanglement risk to children. The company has not reported any injuries or illnesses associated with the product.

Consumers should immediately take the recalled ponchos away from children. To eliminate the hazard, consumers should remove the drawstring or return the poncho to the firm for a full refund.
