What this means for you
Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.
Our severity reasoning: The recall involves a risk-of-harm product (burn injury) where no injuries have been reported, which aligns with the High severity criteria for risk-of-harm products without reported injury.
Plain-English summary
LIVLY is recalling approximately 1,200 children's robes and two-piece pajama sets. The recalled products fail to meet federal flammability standards for children's sleepwear, which poses a risk of burn injuries to children.
The recalled two-piece sets consist of a long-sleeve top and pants and feature a sewn-in side fabric label with "LIVLY," "www.livlyclothing.com," and RN number 146214. The sets also have printed "LIVLY" labels on the back of the neck and pants. The recalled robes are white with black piping trim, feature a chest pocket with "Mini" embroidered on it, and have a sleeping face outline embroidered on the back. The clothing was manufactured in Peru.
The products were sold from February 2016 through January 2017 at retailers including Baby Elaine, Bluebelle, Le Bambini, The Hosiery Boutique, and LIVLY, as well as online at Gilt.com and LivlyClothing.com. The two-piece pajama sets were sold for about $55, and the robes for about $78. No injuries have been reported.
