These strollers are designed for children up to 50 pounds and feature a five-point harness, reclining seat, and storage basket.

The recall is due to laceration and fall hazards. A gap in the folding side hinge can pinch a caregiver's hand during unfolding, potentially causing cuts. Additionally, the stroller can fold unexpectedly during use, which poses a risk of injury or falls to both the caregiver and the child. The company has received five reports of consumers being pinched by the hinge, resulting in four needing stitches. There were also 71 reports of the stroller folding unexpectedly, leading to 12 minor bumps or bruises and one fractured wrist and elbow in an adult.

The strollers were sold at Babies R Us, other retail stores nationwide, and online retailers including Albeebaby.com, Amazon.com, Dmartstores.com, and Medbroad.com from May 2015 through November 2016 for about $180. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled strollers and contact Aria Child for a free replacement stroller.
