The affected printer models include the G-Series, GT Series, ZP455, HC100, P1XX Series, and ZXP3.
The recall is due to a fire hazard. The power supply units can degrade and corrode over time when exposed to moisture, leading to overheating. Zebra has received three reports of the units overheating or catching fire, including one instance where a fire spread from the connector to the printer, damaging the printer and surrounding workspace. No injuries have been reported.
