The recall is being issued because the sweatshirts have a drawstring around the neck area, which poses a strangulation hazard to children. The hoodies were sold at Irish boutiques and other specialty retail stores nationwide and online at www.thejtg.com from November 2012 through August 2015 for about $20. Consumers should immediately take these recalled hoodies away from children. They can remove the drawstring to eliminate the hazard or return the item to the place of purchase for a full refund.
