These vehicles were sold nationwide through Kawasaki authorized dealers from July 2013 through March 2014 for approximately $2,300 to $2,500.

The recall is due to a hazard where the camshaft sprocket bolts can loosen and come off. This failure can cause the engine to lock and stop the vehicle, posing a crash hazard. No injuries have been reported in connection with this defect.
