K2 Sports is recalling approximately 767 units of Kwicker and Kwicker BC snowboard bindings. The recall was issued because the bindings can release unexpectedly, which poses a fall hazard to snowboarders. No injuries have been reported in connection with this defect.

The affected Kwicker bindings are black and silver with a green release lever knob and have item number B1304028010 printed on the box. The Kwicker BC bindings are silver with a green release lever knob and green lock loop, with item number B1304027010 printed on the box. The word "KWICKER" is printed in white on the side of the Kwicker bindings and on the top of the Kwicker BC bindings.

These bindings were sold at sporting goods stores nationwide from October 2013 through December 2013 for about $200. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled bindings and contact K2 Sports to arrange for free replacement bindings and installation. K2 Sports is also contacting its customers directly.
