The affected models include the Ambush, Ambush iS, Instinct, Recoil, and Recoil iS. These vehicles were sold by Bad Boy Buggies dealers nationwide from August 2012 through May 2014 for between $9,600 and $14,400.

The recall is due to incorrect parking brake adjustments and improperly bled brake lines, which can diminish a consumer's braking ability and pose a crash hazard. The recalled vehicles have serial numbers ranging from 8004970 through 8012901, which are printed on a plate or label on the steering column. No injuries have been reported in connection with this defect.
