Plain-English summary
Sunrise Medical (US) LLC is recalling approximately 20 Quickie® Shark bikes. The recall involves specific model numbers SB472900001 and SB471900001, which are designed for use by disabled persons. The model and serial numbers are printed on the right side of the bike frame.
The custom footrests on these bikes can break, which poses a risk of injury to the rider. No injuries have been reported in connection with this defect. The affected bikes were sold through Sunrise Medical authorized dealers nationwide from March 2007 through October 2009 for about $4,300.
