The product was manufactured by Fujian Minhou Minxing Weaving Co. Ltd, of China.
The recall is due to a fire hazard. A paint used to finish the exterior shell may catch fire. W.S. Badcock Corporation has received one report of the exterior shell catching fire. No injuries were reported.
The fireplaces were sold at Badcock Home Furniture &more and Badcock Home Furnishings Center stores from September 2008 to November 2009 for about $300.
