The recall is prompted by a risk of strangulation. This hazard can occur if a child places their neck between the cords of the pull cord above the breakaway device and the device fails to break away. The affected blinds have a pull cord with a breakaway device on the right side and two single cords on the left side. A label inside the head rail states "NIENMADE China" and includes a manufacturing code beginning with "MFG" followed by four numbers.
