The hazard exists because the lifting loop can slide off the side of the blind, allowing a child's neck to become entangled in the free-standing loop or trapped between the loop and the blind material. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.

The blinds were sold online through retailers including Overstock.com, Bestwindowtreatments.com, Bedbathstore.com, Unbeatablesale.com, Bonton.com, Linensource.com, and Solutions.com from April 2006 through March 2010.
